Thanks. It's working now. Must have been something to do with it being live earlier. I like this guy Sam Raderman's playing.

Did you try while the live was definitely ongoing? I've already troubles in the past watching too soon after the live ended. From what I've been able to glean, the live is presented in a limited number of streaming formats; the more usual selection of other formats get added over a certain lapse of time after the live ended, undoubtedly as a function of processing availability. If things still work that way you may have seen an effect of that.

13 November 2024
Ed Cherry and Pasquale Grasso guest with Frank Vignola, Gary Mazzaroppi and Alex Raderman.

Apparently Ed Cherry is having some physical issues. Frank carried his guitar out, and Pasquale carried it off. It may be his right knee, but I couldn't tell for sure because an audience member's head was in the way the whole time. Brief glances seemed to show something over his trousers at the knee. I hope it's a temporary issue. It certainly didn't seem to affect his playing.

That's sad to hear, I love Ed Cherry's music. I saw one of his live streams during the COVID lockdowns and it was very inspiring.
-
So great to hear these three masters together! Thankfully Birdland shares the footage with all of us who live far from NYC.
-
Is there no show tonight? Nov.20/24.

Maybe it’s Mike Stern.

Mike Stern was the guest this week, so it won’t be live-streamed.

More's the pity. Like all too much in today's society, the morons spoil it for the rest of us.

To me pulling the stream IS feeding the trolls. I.e. it lets their asinine behavior drive the behavior of the good.

Yea, "feeding" may not be the right term, but I believe you see the point as it relates to "some reward": I.e. the trolls were reward by getting someone they were harassing to change their behavior. This will only encourage the trolls to continue to see if they can do it to someone else.

what on earth could they troll MS about?

Unless you get hate mail about your performances , you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Also, I get the feeling you believe I'm somehow putting down MS. That is not the case at all, but I find you often assume the worst in people. Of well.

Apparently more than just his choice of effects (and thus his sound).

This is me realizing I'm being pretty loud in the room right now.... uh oh
