E.g. "I'd show Pasquale Grasso to Jimmy Raney because..."

I would show a video of myself to Kenny Burrell if that got me in the same room as him. I'd rather talk to him about something else, but I'd take self promotion over nothing.

My father-in-law was a friend and colleague of George "Pinky" Nelson, an astronaut who flew on two space shuttle missions. One time, I gave Pinky a ride to the airport. All I wanted to do was hear about space missions for NASA, all he wanted to talk about was guitars.
