Yep, if not just only for the sheer fact there was a lot more instrumental variety (and in players). I've been missing the piano lately, btw.

In the part with the 3 flattops, was the Gibson (I think!) just not miked very well, or are those Maccaferri-style guitars really a lot louder? There was a (to my ears) noticeable imbalance there, which actually made me peek at the video (I usually don't).

Inspired by Jonathan Stout's electric solo at the end, I learned the opening to Harlem Nocturne and used it as a lick last night. Trumpet player caught it.

Upon review, he quoted Rhapsody in Blue at 1:21:55 and not Harlem Nocturne. Guess I need to learn that one too.
