Hello,
There aren't a lot of flat strings for acoustic guitars, but I think I've tried quite a lot (I miss Magma):
D'Addario (semiflat)
Dogal (flat)
SIT Silencer (semiflat)
Pyramid (Handpolished)
Galli model AJF (flat)
I liked the Galli strings best.
So much that I'm now an endorser... but that's an honest opinion that I would have shared with the forum anyway!

Congratulations. What's good about them?

Hi Rob!
They still sound balanced with the plain strings (at least on my archtop), intonation is excellent and they have a good tension.
Sound is warm but they still have enough high end to allow good articulation.
I think they are very good for my playing style.

Any sound files or videos?

Are you saying that you're unable to get Magma acoustic flats? They're available on Amazon, Strings By Mail, direct from Magma, etc.

I would need a custom set, since I play with this tuning: CGDAEG, which is something they don't offer, and I don't want to cannibalize three sets to make one...

Still a lot of finger noise and they sounded not very lively and playing was not very smooth to the touch of the left hand. Acousticly, they are quite good though

Oh, strange! I found the Dogal a little bit smoother a the touch indeed, but I think Galli sounds better tone wise.
