At present the AF2000 isnt playing well at all...the LGB30 is far superior.

I should pop along to a shop and try the GB10...perhaps that is the answer!

    Lgb 30 can't be higher!

Yep I was thinking of putting some TI 13s as the 12s feel really light...amazing strings...total game-changer for me!

HAHA I know! I cannot help myself.

That said I have recently ordered a Quilter Aviator Cub US which I am really looking forward to using. Anyone every played one. Should suit well for the small solo/duo gigs in cafes & clubs...

Hey! Do you recall the model/part number you had to use to order the replacement tailpiece for the LGB30? The agents for Ibanez in South Africa are finicky when ordering abroad without the correct specifications.

    Thanks!

No, I don't remember, in fact I bought it on eBay, good luck with that.

I have 2 of GB series made in Japan, GB30 which is semi hollow and GB15 which is single floating pup. Both are not too large and feel & sound great. The model name LGB30 is kind of confusing from that perspective, pity they are not in production anymore.

I was wondering, the LGB30 has a spruce top, but I suppose it's laminate ? So does it make that big of a difference with a laminate maple top ?
I'm hesitating between this and the Eastman AR372 P90. The Eastman is a little pricier, but in my opinion they're in the same range regarding bang for the buck.
Maybe the spruce is a little louder acousticaly ? But still laminate..

Is that tailpiece a 1:1 swap with screw holes etc vs the original one on LGB30?

    No, but no problem...
