I've been using one of the comma style cushion leg rests for about 10 years. I owned both sizes of the made-in-Germany Dynarette. A few years ago through this site, I found a cheap knock off on Temu. The quality wasn't nearly as good as the Dynarette but the design was upgraded with the addition of a strap that holds the cushion in place. As someone who has used the original for a very long time, that strap is a huge improvement and addresses the one complain that every one has with the Dynarette, that the whole assembly comes apart too easily. Now that I'm back playing out, I wanted a second cushion that could just sit in my gig bag.

A couple of weeks ago, I've also swapped my guitar stool for a nice armless office chair. It's working out well but my stool had an adjustable foot rest so now I need to use a classical style footrest to get my leg in the right position. I do have one of the standard metal ones but again, it sits in my gig bag and I wanted something a bit nicer that would stay permanently at my desk where I do all my playing at home.

About 10 days ago I went to Temu. I found both items for just over $20 CDN each with a promise of no shipping charge and no taxes despite coming to Canada from China. They arrived a week earlier than promised, so shipping was actually faster than from Toronto. Both items were exactly as expected and the total price was $41 CDN ($30 US). Just to put that into perspective, the same size cushion (without the leg strap) from Dynarette is $90 CDN.
