yea refret for sure, I don't think I can find a neck like this these days that is not custom shop. It's American Vintage Reissue Tele 64, that I got from i think Stratoshere website... I went to Sam...

There are enough reissues of 20s-30's recordings to give an idea of the guitar's range and role in the pre-amplification period, though for big-band performance the recording tech probably doesn't...

Yes! I'm not great either. But I don't read/play charts either. For my approach (not playing in a group or with just a soloist) 1. Pick the tune 2. Lean the progression (ex. II-V-I, etc.)...
Sad to say being a deacon is challenging and we can hide behind many things rather than grow. My luthier skills are ok for some things however compared to a Mark Campellone by skills would come up...
