rag, you were the one who instigated all the quarrelling about the tune. Why are you getting upset when someone asks 1 question? If you're bored, go practice outlining changes.

Does anyone want to call the next tune?

Quarrelling? I haven't quarrelled and I'm not upset, quite the contrary. Show me where I've quarrelled. Cut and paste it in, I haven't changed anything.

Next tune, good idea. There are a plethera of minor blues.

    Midnight Blue
    I Remember Sonny
    All Blues
    Stolen Moments
    Footprints
    Senor Blues
    Equinox
    Birk's Works
    Summertime

    Plus a hundred more.

Once you've got the head out the way it's just a Gm blues.

Birk's Works is a bit more of a challenge. Interesting changes. Might be better, actually.

Which is of course another 12 bar blues, generally played fast. Will it be too young to drink adult beverages? (minor)

There will be overlap in the styles of the tunes sir. If you want to do something unique, then you call the tune.

No, that caused too much upheaval last time. And I said I thought it was just a unique thing to do for Blue Monk. But it will be in the key of B if you can handle that.

Sorry, I forgot these are "bluez" jams.... What about the tempo? The "melody" (more like a riff) is meant to be played fast.

Yes, 'bluez' jams. Everyone's in charge of arranging the tunes how they want. The tune will just be called. And there will be a suggested key, that's it.
