Just Friends -- or keeping things simple

Nowadays I practice five days each week, leading up to the Friday night recording session. I feel that I learn as much during that hour as I would have in the preceding days. I had fun trying out different chord shapes and playing styles, but in the end the take I decided to upload was the one where I kept it simple. That Bill Evans video comes to mind, where he urges budding players to play authentically instead of trying to impersonate more advanced playing that they do not yet understand.
