Not sure if you are still around @jamiehenderson1993 but you might want to have a look at Tim Lerch's video lessons on Truefire. He also has books and other resources available, depending on your level. I found the hardest part about getting back into guitar was trying to narrow it down, so I could really focus on one style (I tend to be something of a butterfly). As soon as I heard Tim I thought: "That's it!". I'm really enjoying working through the "Jazz Blues Foundations" course.

Blues and jazz blues are not clean or polite feels. Jazz blues just has a few more harmonic levels going on at the same time.
I think I posted a vid 10 or 15 tears ago on this forum... I'll try and make a new one.... BUT...

Post an example , really and I'll also post material that will help you. You really can't expect someone to help if you don't put up something.

the tune ALL BLUES fascinated me and inspired me to study "jazz" that has blues flavors in its main ingredients.

I had arguments with several players over the tune being a "true blues" structure. But for me it was.

Miles had some fun with it mixing different blues styles-dom/maj/min in one very tasty mix..even the time sig was not safe.

    My own take developed using

    G13 Bb13 for the I

    Eb9 C9 for the IV

    F9 D9 for the V

    In a med tempo 4/4

for some reason one of the guys that argued with me on the Miles tune liked my tune..

I did say to read the liner notes on the KOB album and then he could argue with Bill Evans about the tune.
