I'd pay to watch this band... Well I like lyrics and vocals.

Louis sounds good here! Sings like Stevie, plays good funk, brings some joy. Nice to see Sco get on national TV.

The horn players quickly realised that bars 5 and 6 have some cool chords that nobody told them about

That was good :-)

I like it, but I prefer this one:J
I bought this album when it was released in '71. It was Frampton's playing on that album, which was unlike that of his contemporaries, that made me want to play guitar. Plus, all those pictures on the album of that absolutely gorgeous LP Custom contributed to that as well.Last edited by Midnight Blues; 02-06-2024 at 12:22 PM.

Scofield played this song on his tribute to Ray Charles. A few vocalists appear here and there but it's mainly an instrumental album.
John Mayer sang this song on that record. (And it's a great record. I'll add a few more tracks from it.)
