I really miss you Jim. Would have loved to sit with you and chat about guitar for about a day. I would have cherished that time.
But, now I just spend time listening to all of your brilliance. And learning what I can.
You know it took me some years to really get it....but I do get it now. And you are quickly becoming one of the most important jazz players for me, personally.
Thank you for all that you left for us....what a priceless inheritance for all jazz musicians and just fans of music.

BTW what kind of smokes do you think Jim preferred?

He looked like a Winston guy or maybe a Doral menthol kind of dude.

But maybe he was not even a smoker at all? Don't know
