Love is for the very young - new song for me. And although I knew who Barry Galbraith was and have glanced at his books, I had never heard him. Wow. So nice.
In another thread I had noted that the key of Ab was the one of the flat keys that I least often play. And here he modulates to C and then I believe to Fm. Great playing.

Thanks for that post. Barry was an amazing artist.

This is a memorial site with many of his (hard to read

The pitch of the recording is off, about a semitone flat, as it is with many youtube recordings.

You can access this arrangement of Barry's as part of his "42 Chord Melody Arrangements"by Barry Galbraith on his site. This is a free download with certain proviso's. You must be able to read as there are no tabs. These are great arrangements and sound as modern now as when written.Enjoy.

From Guitar and the Wind. A great album. His only solo album available on iTunes. For anyone not familiar with him it's a great album with great playing.
-
Great work, thanks for posting!

These are the ones transposed from the hand written version.

Here's a video with Barry in it :

For those still interested-there is a free download at the Music Centre of Barry's "42 Chord Melodies" properly notated in sheet music fashion and is far better than trying to read Barry's original hand written pages. Check it out.

See post #15. They are already available on this forum.
