Best Andy Summers album of Jazz is 'Last Dance of Mr X', he does a great version of Afro Blue, Footprints and The Three Marias.

I loved Triumph and always though Rik Emmet was severely underrated. there was a Gutar Player mag in the 80's with Rik, Liona Boyd Ed Bickert and maybe Alex Lifeson that was my first introduction to hearing Ed Bickert... a definite game changer for me as ed Bickert is my all time fave.

I've seen clips of Eric Johnson sitting in with someone, I forget who and can't find the clips. He seemed to be legitimately improvising over jazz changes. He was ok, no great shakes. There are other "jazz" clips of him on YT but they seem to be memorized compositions.
