12 O'Clock High .. Guitarist

I watched series 1 . episode 1 of the old TV series , '12 O'Clock High' on Youtube last night ,and there was bloke in the barracks playing a Guitar.
He was playing some nice jazz on an acoustic.. a bit like the way Jonathan Stout plays ,and as far as I could see, he was actually playing.
His character in the show was Blake ,and the actors name is Joby Baker .
I can't find anything on the net about Joby Baker being a Guitarist . Maybe it wasn't him actually playing .
Anyone heard of Joby being a Guitarist ... or know who was actually playing the tunes ?
