That is the first album shown / listed but Pat makes clear his Top 10 are not in any specific order.

If they were, this might be the 10th pick, following the convention of counting down to one.

But I take him at his word that they are in no particular order.

That said, Jimmy Smith was the best! ;o)

It is funny how virtually all organ groups are called "organ trios", even though often there is a horn player or other sideman with the group.

I recall a few "quartet" and "quintet" albums that also had an extra player.

I guess for organ, 3 is the magic number.
