Anybody try these tunings for jazz? I have enough old string sets that I can make some of these work - plus nut files if necessary.

Nashville tuning: E to E, normal intervals, with strings 3, 4, 5, 6 raised one octave - I had some fun with this tuning 10 years ago

Frank Gambale tuning: A to A, normal intervals, entire guitar tuning raised a fourth, with strings 1 and 2 lowered one octave

Joe Beck tuning: A to A, normal intervals, entire guitar tuning lowered a fifth, with strings 3 and 4 raised one octave - an ultra heavy 6th string would be needed

As I write this, it occurs to me that I could pull strings 3 and 4 on a normally tuned guitar, replace them with thin strings, and bring them up an octave.

Some gnarly close-interval chords could happen with these concepts.
