I like those, simple and short. If the lyrics are too complicated and try to say to many things, the words get lost in the music and I won't know what the lyric was about. Simple is good, repetition...
Yeah, the freakin' thing was lying around my parents' house for ages, and I never knew that any of those guys were on it, including BG. I found a book on Talbert in the library, and the author makes...
Hi Greg - yes still for sale. I will measure nut with and get back to you, virtually sure it's 1.68 to 1.69 (not a wide nut). Don't have calipers to measure thickness, but it's what I would call a...
I really like electric archtops. Mostly Gibsons. L5 CES. ES175. I also really like acoustic. Hand carved. Benedetto pattern. Yunzhi and Wu which were once affordable. That time is likely...

Mak’s a good dude with a great shop. Used to be Ivor Mairantz… lot of history there! I bought two guitars from there over the years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I found the two incredible Thomas Talbert LPs that Barry Galbraith played on in the 50s on You Tube. They both sound as good as anything out there today. The first was from an album originally...
I used to have a bumper sticker on my car that said "eschew obfuscation," but there was no hat pictured on it.
Just look at the prices on the new ones, something like double the price of your guitar. The value of the U.S. Dollar has depreciated about 10% since Trump took office and if you're in the U.S., add...
