First reaction was that the trebles sound almost natural but the bass strings lost their character ... and then I realised those are from some other instrument

Is this guitar recorded purely through the K&K or is it an electro-acoustic mix? (I mean, I never heard of "simone-testing" before
)

I think Simone is the name of the tune.
Great sound, I wish mine sounded like that.

Thank You

Very nice kris!
It’s a great tune, I have a video of George Coleman playing it with his octet.

Thank you Graham...yes it is really great tune.

I know, I know, the subtle differences between "Simeone-testing" and "Simone - testing"

I installed k&k three times.
This is not easy.
Currently I used strong double-sided tape.Super Glue is the best but there is a big risk.

Sounds really good. I was looking at JJBs. I might have to rethink that. Great playing too.

And then there is Simone testing…

Thats kind of the big issue. How to adhere them to the guitar such that it sounds good, but wont wreck it if you remove them. Mine doesn't have a bridge plate. I used the disk piezos on a steel string though. Tried double sided carpet tape, glue and super glue. They all sounded various levels of brittle. Then I found a thicker, double sided sticky rubber strip thing. The output dropped slightly but didn't have the piezo quack/brittleness. I was thinking I would try the old school elmers rubber cement if I buy one of those pickups. Who knows though.
