    Thanks! We're coming along nicely as a Guitar, Piano, Bass trio. This was the second gig with a piano player, the bassist is with me on every gig I've played.

    It was the pianists suggestion to play this song,and generally more blues tunes this time. That's why I bring it up.

    Yeah, I listen to the King Cole Trio stuff all the time. It's kind of hard to set your goals on like, the best trio ever, but that's what I'm trying to do.

    The King Cole Trio is my favorite musical\singing trio. I can' think of another trio where the musicians are of such high-quality that also has a first-rate lead singer.

    The Diana Krall trio is in the ballpark. Frankly other than these two, I can't think of another trio with such abilities that played and sung jazz standards. (for non-jazz ELP is up there).
