The scale of chords on dominant. I alternate between the dim built on the b9 and then my device. Pretty crunchy eh?

Lil tune clip in a stop-time sink hole as Reg would say lol. I think it's musical.

this kind of stuff is good to experiment with..the diminished scale has great chords in it
to use #9 b9 #11 and b13 they can create some very crunchy sounds..used in symmetric and chromatic ways

My experiment--Db diminished
A7b9/C# E13b9/D Eb7#9= A13/Eb) C7b9/E G13b9/F F#7#9
and of course its a good mix and match and a jump off point to something more digestible

Yes indeed. So that's your experiment for crunchy chords stepwise? This is an innovation I created with the same simple principle as 6th/dim but it ain't dim. Was wondering if any ear cats could tell me what it is. Bueller?..

Well anyhoo, it's whole tone. I took the concept of 6th/dim and used any chord voicing of whole tone notes instead of the dim chord. I think it sounds pretty sweet. A little crunchier than dim. Can use it exclusively or in addition to dim. Gonna work it up so I can play tunes and improvise with it and not be in a stop time sink hole haha.
