I first got to like this Harold Arlen-Ted Koehler song hearing it on Jazz Loft, a collection of tunes performed after-gigs in NYC's flower district. Musicians would gather at David X. Young's loft to jam, drink, try to get some 'action'. On the double CD, still available, it was performed by Zoot Sims, Dave McKenna (his changes and he led the tune), I think Ronnie Free on drums. I forget the bass player. When I learned it I copped some of McKenna's changes and cooked up some of my own. I like it at a relaxed lope I like to call 'back porch swing'.
