Hi again, I'm sorry if sometimes I post something.
-
Hi !
I'm worried...
I found this backing track and I think it's one of the best !
And I tried it... I'm sorry for that !
-
Seeing jazz being playing on a Gibson Nighthawk more than makes up for it

Oh, god...

They don't make 'em like this anymore. Happy thing :-)
-
Ragman: sounds like you're off rhythmically. Sorry!

Why do you post so many takes?
And why post a take in a key that you are not familiar with and with a backing that swings like a potato?

I do it for fun, I saw your Youtube Channel, I'm not sure you accompany the singers like this because your videos are good did you do it as a joke ?

No, the backing track and my posts are no jokes and I'm pretty serious about learning to play walking bass with chords accompaniment.
Ragman has asked for my backing tracks before, so this time I posted a link to it in my first post.
-
Yes, I thank you for that foresight and long may it continue!
-
Why don't you try to play something that sounds more simple ?

With all you know you could play a wonderful thing, I assume that All Of Me is not the right standard to play bass lines except if you are advanced, when there are more changes it's easier because the fingers move naturally from a point to another.

PS : I'm sorry for the quote, Hans but I did it with a lot of sympathy.

Lionelsax ,
You play ok/quite clear/ but I think Hohoho wanted to play walking bass with chords a little more complicated stuff.
Merry Christmas

On the other hand, I think Hohoho was clapping on one and three while he was recording, to play on his accompaniment you have to imagine what he wanted to do and not what he did.
I think if he tries again, that will be better, I'm pretty sure of that.
On a bop tune it's the easiest thing to do, like I said, everything is under the fingers.

Sure...I/ve played All Of Me about 40 years ago in traditional style of jazz.Anyway it has interesting chords and playing walking bass/I mean every different note on the beat/- it is not easy for guitar player...
