    Ahh..Im sure Bill Evans and Miles would approve of your intake on this one..as well as Dirk..who does a good fit on it as well..

    great sound - very consistent and satisfying

    i can't reconcile myself to playing with my fingers - i'm so keen to pull as much sound out of the guitar as i can - the pick helps keep the top line clearly articulated, but it forces you to reduce the harmony to essentials (which is fine in its way)

    video works really well too

    do you do my ship?

    Thanks! I like using a pick too and also find it’s got slightly fuller tone- certainly more volume. By switching back and forth it’s has caused me to work on fingerstyle tone production with the goal of getting it to sound as strong. The angle, attack and pressure used with the fingers all helps. And nails are a whole additional dimension. I work mostly by trial and error, but having the goal sound based on the plectrum, my finger tone has improved greatly.
