Starting to work on these changes, but the tune is a little busy to arrange fingerstyle, I know its just a 12-bar blues, but other songs that use the same chords?

What chord changes are you looking at? You could just use the common blues chord changes, or at least start with them and add chord subs later if needed.

Sure, I am a beginner trying to move out from I-IV-V type 12-bar progressions, what I have been practicing is this (with some BH moves) - the I-IV-I-I-IV-IV-[ii-V]/ii-ii-V-I-V-I

If it's bar 8 you find difficult, those are substitutes for the I chord (C7). It's common to precede dominant 7th chords by their relative IIm7 chords, i.e., the Dm7 before G7 and Em7 before A7(b9).

I love those thread titles. I was immediately thinking of Bird‘s mood swings.
