Join Open Studio Pro. I literally got better in 3 months like they said. Since you're focusing on solo like me, I found practicing with the metronome on every beat at 120 to be the best thing for shaking out technical skills. Drum track and backing track make it too easy and have a feel of their own, won't necessarily indicate the absolute middle of the beat. Metronome on 2 and 4 gives too much space.
