There's a new band in the box. Apparently it's got a lot of A.I. features. If you're into that kind of thing.

What don’t you like about IReal Pro? Realize there’s no melody due to copyright infringement, but just do a Google search and you can easily find a proper chart for melody.
As well as use YouTube for free to hear almost every recorded version.

Yea, you can find melody for any tune, sometimes not for free, but if you wanna save money just use your ears. As far as chord charts to read on the gigs ireal pro is as good as it gets imo.

    Hi,
I'm using a Microsoft surface pro. Are there any good digital fakebooks that work on windows that someone can point me too? I checked the play store and didnt see anything.

    Thanks.

My understanding is that most RB titles are only available via Kindle or iBooks. Each uses proprietary formats that make it quite difficult to convert to pdf and save to your computer. The most popular titles, like The Real Book - Sixth Edition - C Edition, are also available through Hal Leonard Digital Books in pdf format. However, these are "cloud-based publications, which are streaming and require internet access. Upon purchase, you will be provided with an access code and a link to Hal Leonard's MyLibrary site, where you can view your digital book along with any supplemental audio or video where applicable."

To summarize: pdfs? Yeah, some. Downloadable pdfs? Not natively. You have to obtain a third-party pdf conversion tool to alter the format of each file.

And then they are still PDFs that you can’t transpose, edit, adapt or search.

I have it and it's not as good as BIAB. It does weird things on dom7 chords where it doesn't always play the correct extensions based on the key.
