A bargain. I even put it into my basket (like other 90 people I'm sure are genuinely interested in buying it).

For that money I would also want, along with the console, be transported back in time to be one of the first people to use it in the mid 60's, along with all the EMI tech boffins to show me the new techniques they were coming up with, all in an atmosphere of almost unbearable excitement about what could be done with it all.
I'd also expect a band like The Beatles or Pink Floyd to use it with. But if you can't give me all that as extras, then all I could offer is 500 quid. See, I use these kinds of things, and that's what its worth to me in 2024. Now, if I have too much money and would love to impress my Beatles loving wife, and have room in my mansion for an Abbey Road replica studio, maybe I'd try to beat them down to an even 2 mill.

2500 quid is quite cheap, especially considering that you pay much more for „iconic“ guitars.
