i want to pc speaker for playback

but Guitar Pro settings allow only to make choice both for input and output together. I cannot set input to Scarlett and output to PC

buy or make up a lead to go from
    the scarlett’s jack outputs to
3.5mm stereo jack (or whatever you need) to go into your PC speakers

Could be a solution of course but it is a bit weird... the signal goes to PC then back to Scarlett then I make it connected back to PC with extra wiring...

I cannot understand why Guitar Pro blocks the possibility to choose different input and output. It is really inefficient.

Other more experienced members here may chime in and correct me - it's got nothing to do with Guitar Pro, it's how ASIO works. Once you configure the audio to use the Focusrite ASIO drivers, all inputs and outputs are only through the audio interface. I tried this with a couple of devices just to be sure.
When you select the 'Standard' audio in Guitar Pro, you can select all available inputs and outputs - but the guitar doesn't seem to come through the Scarlett (I have a 4i4).

If you don't have monitor speakers connected to the Scarlett, you'll may have to find a way to connect the computer speakers to the headphone output, lots of cheap options easily available on various sites (refer to above posts).
