If this had been audio-only I’d have clocked off after a minute or so. I need to see them playing for this stuff to compel me. He’s so into it. Such a restless, driven spirit. I’m seeing him in April, can’t wait. Artistically, he reminds me of people like Lenny Breau or Jaco Pastorius. Let’s hope he’ll be with us a lot longer than they were.

PS hear that buzz in the second tune? That would drive me nuts if I were up there. Kudos to him for putting it aside and being able to get into the zone.
