I'd like to start a list of jazz artists who regularly feature a guitarist as a side.
I'll start with a few:
Tony Bennett
Diana Krall
Jane Monheit

Yeah, I was thinking recent/current/active.

How about George Benson's often used guitarist sideman, Michael O'Neill?

I've seen GB many times live, and always had O'Neill backing him up on guitar and vocals.
Back in the 'Breezin' days, he was accompanied by guitarist, Phil Upchurch, another great.

Isaiah Sharkey, one of my favorite guitarists these days, incredibly gifted, plays for D'Angelo and jazz master drummer Chris Dave.

Diana Krall with Anthony Wilson, Peter Bernstein and Russell Malone immediately comes to mind.
If we're talking about instrumental bandleaders, Miles Davis, Jean-Luc Ponty, Chick Corea and Gary Burton fit the bill. The latter in particular has been a mentor to many estimable guitarists including Pat Metheny and Jon Scofield.
And of course let's not forget Benny Goodman with Charlie Christian, Skitch Henderson with Bucky Pizzarellie, and Count Basie with Freddie Green.

Russell Malone has been a member of Ron Carter's trio for some years.
John McLean is in vocalist Kurt Elling's band.
Phil Robson regularly collaborates and performs with vocalist Christine Tobin.
Ant Law has been touring and recording in saxophonist Tim Garland's band.
The bands led by saxophonist Will Vinson and drummers Ari Hoenig and Jochen Rueckert tend to utilise guitar as the harmonic instrument. Mike Moreno, Brad Shepik, Lage Lund, Gilad Hekselman and Jonathan Kreisberg all appear on various recordings.
Pasquale Grasso works regularly in the bands of Jamale Davis and Chris Byars.
Kurt Rosenwinkel, Joe Cohn and Martijn Van Iterson have all performed or recorded with pianist Peter Beets.
Wayne Krantz was a sideman on David Binney's album 'Aliso'.
Adam Rogers on Alex Sipiagin's album 'Balance 38-58'.
David Gilmore on Boris Kozlov's 'Conversations at the Well'.
Roni Ben-Hur with Brazilian jazz legend Leny Andrade.
Lage Lund with jazz violinist Zach Brock.
Miles Okazaki with Steve Coleman and Five Elements.
Charles Altura with Chick Corea, Tom Harrell and Terence Blanchard.Last edited by David B; 12-31-2016 at 09:03 PM.

David B beat me to all my ideas, and then some, thanks for the tips, DB!
Robben Ford has had a couple of sideman gigs that I really enjoyed:

I was talking to Jerry Barnes a while back and he was telling me that I should check out Isaiah Sharkey. Now I see why.

You can pretty much count on Cyrille Aimee being accompanied by a hot guitarist (or two). Maybe because she spent some of her formative years in Samois-sur-Seine - the French village where Django spent the last of his years - and was influenced by Gypsy guitarists. She is one of my favorite singers - really conveys the joy of music. Kind of reminds me of the joyfulness implicit in Stephane Grappelli's playing...
