I assume Adam Rogers is the godfather of man-bun cats. I've heard he likes Miyamoto Musashi and imitating his though.

I spent a little time trying to track down the 'tail piece' with no luck. I'm guessing it's some kind of mute/dampener? It seems adjustable, some pictures it's a half-circle others it looks like it swings open.
I tried to find some high-res photos where I could zoom in. I can see that there is some kind of label on it, but it's black on black and I can't make it out *shrug*
As much as I love Yotam's sound on the Comins, I think he's moved on. Last I saw he briefly played some Benedettos and maybe has settled on Westville?
Anyway. I love his playing and compositions. Excited to hear more.

The tailpiece attachment is a mount for a Roland GK-3; it has no function with the pickup detached.
And yes, he seems to mostly be using a Benedetto Bambino Deluxe now, and just had a nylon string built

Since last Summer he is also playing a Westville Solar D with a maple top, specially made for him in Japan.
This is from his concert in Düsseldorf, Germany, about a month ago.

Yeah. Cool. A bit more articulation and note separation than the small Comins - which tends to sound more legato , which is great but ideally you would get the 'pluck ' at front of note when you pick a little harder .
I guess it may be for builders , easier said than done...the string separation is not (parallel switch ) ( articulation etc.)...
The pluck at front of note and the sustain might be tricky for Builders ( and yes the Player - we have most of the responsibilty )
Dynamics and legato in one Guitar might be tricky for Builders...
Maybe that's why Moreno, Kriesberg -,Rosenwinkel use pedals , preamps ...to take pluck off when they don't want it...
For more legato....on demand.
