Looking forward to to see Robben join Oz Noy at the Iridium this June 13, 14, 15. I won’t be attending but cant wait to see posted videos.

Several years ago, Robben and John Scofield did a limited club tour doing blues-based tunes; pretty much just 1 4 5 tunes. It was very interesting, because you don’t hear Scofield do that. They both played some very interesting jazzy bluesy lines.

I’m similarly looking forward to Oz and Robben being as interesting. They both do blues with sophisticated lines. I feel like it will push Robben to step out a bit.

Another interesting part of this is Phil Bradbury (genius behind Little Walter amps) is going to send a new Little Walter 59 model to the club for Robben to play, so that Robben doesn’t have to ship his from Europe. Phil and Robben have agreed to sell the amp afterwards. Robben Will sign it if the buyer wants to. He said if you go to the show, you can take it home with you. If you don’t go to the show, Phil will have it shipped to the buyer.

I already have a 59 and can say it’s the best amp I’ve ever played for what I want to do, which is basically what Oz and Robben do. Great pedal platform. (I’m not associated with Little Walter. Just a fan.)

If anyone goes please load and share your videos. Thanks in advance!

Here is Phil talking about it...
