All these tributes to Miles are just advertising tricks.
The biggest musical feast was when Miles appeared.
I listened to almost all tributtes to Miles and I always missed something.... maybe the ghost of Miles.
In Miles' environment, the musicians played differently and I can't say that they played better... just different.

I think John McLaughlin's + Chick Corea's album Five Peace Band is sort of meant as a tribute to Miles - the second disk more than the first. It's an incredible album, anyway, IMO.

Tbh I think playing something worthwhile on a tune like All Blues may actually be the final boss of jazz.
