Always interested in what Jimmy has to say.
But 2 minutes into this interview and I'm wondering if I can deal with the ducking and background noise on Bob's mic for another hour... plus... the SATs? Really? Isn't Jimmy's score on the SATs just old news? I hope they cover some new ground...

They covered some new ground, including Jimmy's new relationship (his wife passed away during the pandemic, if I recall correctly) and not having had a drink since August. His girlfriend, Jennifer, is a classical guitarist and lives in NY, so he visits often. He's also stopped smoking cigarettes, but smokes cigars instead which many smokers kid themselves is less bad. But Jimmy looked and sounded better than he has for a long time, I gotta say. It was good to see. I was surprised that he is only a few years older than me, he's been a well-known professional guitarist for so many years that I thought he was at least 15 years older. He continues to teach online and apparently spends quite a bit of time doing that. He gigs occasionally "when they can meet my fee, otherwise I'm not interested."
