While that’s not so hard to do if you play with some grind, like Danny Gaston or Greg Koch, I personally struggle mightily to make it all sound balanced and even with a totally clean tone. Plectrum notes are sometimes too loud and if I accidentally pluck a treble string with a nail instead of flesh the high end will bite my head off. Kreisberg has totally mastered this. Somewhat surprisingly, giving his incredible control over the instrument, I can definitely hear his pick clicking against the pickup cover during some parts of the song.

    Hey, I warned him not to use a cheap generic brand band-aid on his neck pick-up, just won't do the job.

    Got to use something like: BAND-AID(R) Brand TOUGH-STRIPS(R) Heavy Duty Bandages
