Back then I ordered some CDs from Concord, it was a small label, the man mentioned that that CD was recorded right after they had all done a 5 night stand at a club (I think called Joshi's in California). So they were hot.

Back then I ordered some CDs from Concord, it was a small label, the man mentioned that that CD was recorded right after they had all done a 5 night stand at a club (I think called Joshi's in California). So they were hot.

It was Yoshi's. Maybe they did record the CD after a 5 night Yoshi's appearance, but I recall seeing them there after the CD was released. Having bought the CD, I wasn't about to miss a live performance.

Jeez, Frank looks like he's still in high school. But what an amazing arrangement- it puts me in mind of Johnny Smith the way the notes are stacked and the impeccability of it all.
