Wonderful. Incredible. Joscho’s note choice and sense of rhythm is more within the gypsy jazz style which, like flamenco, the best players seem to be born into. Matteo’s incredible talent allows him to get really close really fast.

As far as guitar tones go, these instruments sound fantastic.

That's the first time I've seen Gypsy Jazz played fingerstyle. Is that even legal?

Matteo has to use synthetic nails of some sort. I've tried them once and they were built up so thickly that I couldn't actually play the guitar with them. I had to spend about an hour thinning them down to make them work. I've tried the James Taylor method and gluing on acrylic tips, but those just don't hold up and within a day or two are starting to lift from the natural nail. I suppose finding a nail salon that knows what they are doing with guitarist's nails is difficult- the salon I went to even had guitarist's nails on their "menu" of services.

Matteo seems to have no such problem and can play with amazing speed, volume and accuracy.
