    This is a wonderful take on a Beatles classic, and you really put the lovely melody in a new and unique context.

    Perhaps the sign of a good song, IMHO, is how adaptable it is to new contexts yet with its character intact.

    BTW, your fingerpicking and tone on this reminds me of Richard Fontenot, in particular his Cajun Country Guitar LP on, IIRC, the old Folkways label.

    Thank you for this nice comment. I must agree with your remark on signs of a good song and I will try to find Richard Fontenot music online. I like Cajun music, for as much as I got in contact with, but that's not more than Southern Comfort movie and one compilation CD I picked up at some gas station.

    Wow, Southern Comfort, that takes me back! Yes, the music in that is fantastic. Here's the Richard Fontenot record I had mind. In fact, I still have my old vinyl copy. Enjoy!
