Of all the players from that era; Beck, Clapton, Page, etc., he was by far the least known and at least to me, in terms of pure blues, was the best of all of them. I can certainly understand why he was such an influence on Gary Moore and why Gary idolized him.

It certainly was tragic and I think it's fair to type that his life would've been better if there was better treatment available at the time.

Yeah I love all those players but to me Peter Green seems both the most authentic and most original (with his composing) at the time.

Peter Green and Walter Trout get a good amount of airplay in my home.

I’ve never seen him live, but Walter Trout got a new liver courtesy of The University of Nebraska Medical Center and (until recently) used to play here regularly kind of as a tribute to his “second birthplace”.
