    Funny though they are presenting this like its something new when Rhiannon Gibbons and Otis Taylor have been all over PBS for years

    One morning a decade or so ago I looked out my window to see a young woman who looked like Rhiannon Gibbons coming to my door. It turned out it was her! I live in Edinburgh, and she has relatives living just south-east of the city.

    She wanted to chat to me about banjos, the early fingerstyle repertoire which I had been making recordings, books and videos of at the time. We spent a really great couple of hours together, playing to each other, and then she left. My wife came home from shopping five minutes later, and I had a hard time convincing her what had happed

    I saw the video in the OP a few days ago, and obviously the work of Rhiannon came instantly to mind. At least she grows her own gourds!
