This is a very interesting line over last 4 bars in the blues.
I've transcribed it from the tune"IF"- concert version 2013.
This is in the Key of C /orginaly F key/.
You can easy transpose it to every key.
Org. key F:

i notice that the first bar has a scalar passage. is that a sign of unimaginative improvising? or does that only apply to some players?
-
It is looks like Scofs lick from his personal language.
sounds more outside /two first bars/... interesting mix - d dorian and eb dorian.
I/ve tried to adopt it to my style of playing.
You can hear it on the second chorus of the Scof solo over J.Henderson "If":

to me seems Sco thinks sometimes minor chords as 7th chords with his altered notes..i love that..and that outside parts he adds here and there..a very personal style..lately ive been listening a lot to his Bump,Hand Jive ,Groove Elation,etc..plenty of good ideas there..

It is intersting that he has a lot of fans that like his music and specific outside solos.
I remember his playing with Miles Davies in Warsaw 1983.
This concert with Miles was for me the best I ever seen.
Three years later /1986/ I met him at jazz club and he played jam on my guitar.
