John Scofield and melodic minor scale

I've transcribed some nice Scof's lines over G7 chord/Ab melodic minor/.
Scof like melodic minor scale very ,very much.
You can see two section/sounds/ of the min mel scale: diminished and wholtone.

You can see Gb in second bar/beat 3/...this note is't in mel min scale...but very creative and melodic concept...:-)
