for some time I’ve been looking for a simple way to generate random chords, so I can practice the same material in all 12 keys and across the entire fretboard.
Since I never really found something that did exactly what I needed, I decided to build it myself, and this is it:

Jazz Chord Trainer - Random Practice Tool

It does what I originally wanted, and it also lets you export the generated results directly into iReal Pro.
Feel free to use it if it’s useful for your practice.

I don't see a way to play or export the files - nothing happens when I click the export link.

Do you have iRealpro installed on your device? The app would automatically lead to iRealpro if you click on the "export to iRealpro" button.

Yeah, sorry, user error..... there is no way to play the progressions other than with iRealPro, correct?

Sorry, no — I only wrote the code for the iReal Pro export.
The main idea of this tool is really the "random" aspect. You can also just use the chord symbols for visualization practice; the iReal Pro part is only an additional feature.

You might also want to try reinstalling iReal Pro and see if that helps.

Great work! I used to do this exercise way back after Mick Goodrick suggested it. Later on perhaps you can add diminished chords and intervals, say moving one chord or one progression in 2nds, thirds, fourths etc.
