^ You're right. Playing bass well does require a lot. I was just disagreeing with the idea in the previous post which said it's 'rocket art.'

"Rocket art" was just a humorous (I thought) attempt to downgrade from "rocket science", not meant to be taken seriously. Would you settle for "rocket craft"?
