That's what I hear when fogbound. Perhaps Blue In Green (monochrome mix).
Outside my house and down a few steps, this afternoon:

Some good contenders there. Great to hear Desmond and Hall again, beautiful. Cooder & Bhatt is a classic, for sure.
Well, you are all invited to stand with me by the bridge listening to cool music. See you there tomorrow, 7am! Fog is forecast.
Horns in C#, eh? Very cool.
-
nice horn solo:
-
Haha, that's brilliant! I know what to ask Santa for this year!
-
If only more horn players were that concise.

I heard Miles only in his Big Pants period, mid 1980's at Massey Hall. His band was killing and mid-concert they were playing one of those unlikely hits by Lauper or Jackson and Miles brought the house to a pause, a pregnant pause as I'd learned of when reading about his mastery and at that moment when time seemingly stopped, every listener holding their collective breath and finally released by Mr. Davis who in total control allowed us to all whoop with joy I saw genius.
I hope you can hear it.

Yes, my first thought, came to me immediately. You beat me to the keyboard!

Heck yeah, Miles it is. And he was in Paris when he wrote it.
-
That scared the ever living hell out of me.

I've just bought a mini air horn for my bike, scary moment on a roundabout when an idiot decided to overtake me & turn left at speed.

Don't watch with headphones...

Miles' note would probably have been:
"Time isn't the main thing.
It's the only thing."
Thick fog outside.
Clearest thoughts inside.
Boundary layer problems.

I’m trying to imagine what your new house is like.

Doug B is right - that "Lift to the Scaffold" sound track is exactly what I have in mind.

Fascinating to learn what people are hearing when fogbound!
Fog triggers feelings of lonesomeness, but can also stimulate the imagination, as you have to imagine the surroundings more in your inner eye.
Fogbound some would Miles probably hear like this:
Mal Waldron would come to mind - one for the seagulls, certainly hidden somewhere in the fog:
Or his daughter Mala Waldron, feeling left alone:
-
Holy crap, if that's your new roommate, you're screwed.
