So much truth there. Bran is a constant inspiration. As the video reflects, although he was a bona-fide prodigy he has worked intentionally for decades to be able to consistently deliver the sound we hear from him.

I love interviews with Branford, thanks for sharing. Cat does not mince words.
I wonder if Branford would agree with this statement; he's been pretty dismissive of his early playing in interviews. In listening to the early Wynton records, which are incredible, I kinda agree that he doesn't have things as together as he would. For me, his first great record is "Royal Garden Blues".

The "Bloomington" movie and trio CD were made in the middle of the Sting tour. I hope that someday I fall that far!
