Seeing is believing indeed. When I see an Alien or Jesus (or Zeus), I will be a believer. Until then, I remain a skeptic. But I do have an open mind, after all minds are like parachutes, they work poorly if they are always closed (or something like that).

I think it’s very possible that they’ve been here. I’m not sure that they are here, but I really believe that they have been or that we are them. And I think for us to think we know anything close to how this universe works is the ultimate in hubris and arrogance. I might imagine that the most important thing comes to consciousness. And I wouldn’t be surprised if consciousness were not at all biological. And if it’s not biological, it can exist in anything. It wouldn’t be limited to the temperature and oxygen and carbon that we depend upon here. And then time can be manipulated in all kinds of different ways. So space travel could actually just be time travel, which could happen in the blink of an eye. I’m just imagining the possible. Perhaps sound waves can be manipulated in ways we can’t imagine. We’re limited to the concept of the speed of light. Limited to thinking about wave lengths and particle waves. We don’t know shit yet.

I thought that was a great movie by the way. We saw it for Father’s Day yesterday.

^^^that's a fascinating premise that I would love to discuss more deeply...preferably over many beers.
