You know, throw it in the trunk, head for the lake, just in time for the shooting of one of those Alain Delon films ? ( Yes, Romy Schneider included )
Back to the chair - no right arm of course, lumbar support ??
Or are we all still using small stools, or card table chairs, or hoping the rotting picnic table won't give us back aches like every other year ??
    Hope someone's found something.

Regardless, good summers to you all !!

+1 for the bistro chair. It’s not the best, but it’s better than a picnic table.

I don't use it outside, but you could. And it's cheap- Home Depot flexy (comfy) folder:

And not sure I wouldn't exceed their gross weight rating, 'cause I think my guitars put on some weight over the winter.... : )

Has Anyone Found A Guitar-Specific Outdoor Lawn Chair ?-m-g-2023-jpg

I've been using a drummer's throne for decades. Inside or outside. I just take the seat off and throw the base and seat in my gigbag. I always know I'll have my preferred seating at a gig, no searching around for a chair. Plus, they are inexpensive, available all over the place and last forever.

I like this Ikea folding chair for playing music outdoors. Light, cheap, and no legs to dig into the turf. I recommend it.

I'm still mostly using a folding camp chair with one armrest folded out of the way, but I've been looking for something better. I came across a few ebern designs outdoor chairs that seemed promising because they have decent back support and a wider seat, which can make longer playing sessions more comfortable. Not guitar-specific by any means, but they look a lot more comfortable than balancing on a picnic bench for an afternoon.

These came to us highly recommended by long time festival jammers. They are now our favorites after many iterations of contenders in seasons of music festivaling and jamming. Unfortunately they only come as a pack of four, play with friends Don’t get the cheaper lookalike ones.

Those are what I use. They are the more expensive "mesh" version on the Home Depot one I posted above. I LOVE these chairs. They're PERFECT and comfortable.

It's called the Mity-Lite MESH One. If you google the name, you can find several resources for buying a single chair. I saw a Sam's Club link for $119.00
