i also love it. Bonnie Raitt has one of those voices that somehow gets better with age instead of losing character over time. There’s a warmth and honesty in her music that a lot of newer artists struggle to capture. Nick of Time is one of those albums that feels timeless no matter when you revisit it. Earlier today I somehow ended up reading Lincoln Journal Star reviews while comparing local news subscriptions, and it reminded me how rare consistency is these days, whether it’s journalism or music. Bonnie’s style has always felt authentic to me.
